Do You Get Sick While Reading In The Car?
Yeah, and I’ve never experienced motion sickness until some years ago. Yay for getting older.
Which Author’s Writing Style Is Completely Unique To You And Why?
I have no idea. I don’t really pay attention to writing style? I just want a good story told in the best “style” for it, whatever it may be, if that makes sense.
Harry Potter or Twilight? Give 3 Reasons Why.
Harry Potter, hands down:
- Magical creatures 🦄
Do You Carry A Book Bag? If So, What’s In It (Besides Books)?
No, but I do carry books in an OwlCrate tote bag whenever I’m on vacation. 😀
Do You Smell Your Books?
Who doesn’t (unless the books are ebooks)?
Books With or Without Illustrations?
Without, I guess? I do like words more than pictures.
What Book Did You Love While Reading, But Discovered Later It Wasn’t Quality Writing?
Harry Potter, maybe? I dunno.
Do You Have Any Funny Stories Involving Books From Your Childhood?
Uhh… there was that one time when I was little and reading a children’s book to my family and said I had to go to the bathroom. I didn’t actually have to go, I just… could not read and had nothing better to say, LOL.
What Is The Thinnest Book On Your Shelf?
The novelization of The Sixth Sense. I must’ve bought it in 2008 or something when I was obsessed with a character in the movie. I had/have weird obsessions.
What Is the Thickest Book On Your Shelf?
Encyclopedia of Witchcraft because I love learning about history and folklore and whatnot. I’m not really a practitioner of any kind of magic, though. I’m just here for the creative inspiration.
Do You Write As Well As Read? Do You See Yourself Being An Author In the Future?
Yes, and hopefully! I’m so bad at multitasking, though. How to manage a book blog, social media, drawing, and reading while trying to write the next book?
Haha, I’m never getting published. 🙃
When Did You Get Into Reading?
Just a few years ago, but I’ve only finished a handful of books since then. I was more focused on writing but still have nothing to show for it, LOL.
What Is Your Favorite Classic Book?
Probably The Outsiders. I read the book and watched the movie in middle school and yes I am drawn to anything resembling the found family trope.
What Was Your Best Subject In School?
English was easiest for me.
If You Were Given A Book As A Present That You Read Before And Hated, What Would You Do?
Donate it to the library? Nobody has to know what you do with something they gave you. 😇
What Is A Lesser Known Series That You Know Of That Is Similar to Harry Potter or the Hunger Games?
I remember reading about how the Magisterium series was awfully similar to Harry Potter. I also remember the similarities between Battle Royale and The Hunger Games. That’s about it.
What Is A Bad Habit You Always Do (Besides Rambling) While writing?
I edit as I write. Gasp.
What Is Your Favorite Word?
Cake, for obvious reasons.
Are You A Nerd, Dork, or Dweeb?
Vampires or Fairies? Why?
Fairies. They’re charming little mischief makers with magic and sparkles.
Shapeshifters or Angels? Why?
Shapeshifters. They can turn into anyone and anything, including angels.
Spirits or Werewolves? Why?
Spirits. They’re more diverse and… magical.
Zombies or Vampires? Why?
Vampires. I don’t see the appeal of zombies, let alone most dystopian fiction that revolves around them. Zzzzz.
Love Triangles or Forbidden Love?
As much as I like the idea of polygamous love triangles, forbidden love is often spicier, especially if you add enemies-to-lovers to the mix.
Full on Romance Books Or Action-Packed With A Few Love Scenes?
Action-packed with a few love scenes. I die for power couples that save or burn the world together.
